Looking for IT Desktop Support Engineer in Singapore
We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team and serve as a single point of contact for end users to receive maintenance and support within the organization’s desktop computing environment.
Job Requirements
- Min 1 year of working experience in IT industry
- Knowledge in Microsoft Exchange / Linux an advantage
- Nitec / Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Willing to take on a 1-year contract
- Willing to travel or be deployed to projects
- Resourceful, creative and possess good customer service skills
Responsibilities and Duties
Among some of the duties, you will be responsible for are the following duties:
- Handle our daily technical support activities which include the data network, server management and desktop support.
- Provide 1 st to 2 nd level desktop support for end-users.
- Handle users’ request promptly and efficiently.
- Oversee and update any assigned support service requests.
- Perform installation, configuration, migration, upgrading, and maintenance of desktop PC, OS, application software and related IT peripherals
- Manage hardware & software requisition as well as the inventory for all IT equipment
- Maintain computer peripheral devices and resolve associated problems.
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned
